my sleepy, nighttime, poem.
while i lounge down, cigarette smoking hound
drooling out his light, and i pet him with delight
as i raise my lemonade glass, while wearing a sassy bikini /dress
i lay down on the patio chair, wild rose blooms flow through my hair
smell sweet flowery California in the back of a home, now 'nowhere'
my grandparents gave love, they were always full of care
and my brother and i devoured it, while my uncles poured on some more of it
we bathed in our love, like sunshine on flowers,
we bathed in the backyard pool, splashed on eachother, on noodles, for hours
we ran away from the hornets, and we played cricket on the grass
then we ate from Grandma's Moo-Cow cookie jar,
and i did cartwheels in the air
but now they are in the air
so these memories are in my mind
but i will see them again someday
someday...much forward in time
